Name the next Alfa and win a Spider!

If you've ever despaired at the names that manufacturers dream up for their cars - and, frankly, if you could stomach the Ssangyong Rexton or the VW Sharan, you're of stronger constitution than any of us - here's your chance to prove you can do better.

Pictured are the first sketches of the new small Alfa Romeo, due for launch next year and code-named 'Junior'. But the real 'live' name hasn't been decided yet, because that's down to you.

Yes, the Italian company wants its potential customers to choose the car's name.

Not only will the chosen name be immortalised in motoring history, but the winner will receive a brand new Alfa Spider as a small thank-you gesture.

So follow this link and find out all about the history of Alfa naming, as well as all the details on its new Mini rival.

Then, after several seconds of head-scratching and dictionary-browsing, submit your naming suggestion and wait for the phone call from the judges. Just don't go for the Rodius or the Justy. Amazingly, they've already been taken.
